(specifically, an informative yet irrelevant-to-my-life book review, containing much spoilers.)

FML = Fuck My Life.

This is because my toe (which is blessedly no longer in pain, and thank you so much for all of your get-well wishes!) looks like something ripped it open and gashed it apart... oh wait, something did! This is called FORCEPS which is a fancy word for TWEEZERS WITH SHARP EDGES. Thankfully I don't have any scars/bruises from the needles (which has happened a lot in the past), but my toe is all soggy and white, and it's leaking loads of this weird-looking fluid. The doctor says that's normal and it's probably caused by the cell-killing stuff, but he also said that it was infected beyond belief before he got to it, so soaking it often and cutting away excess skin is a good idea.

All of this means I am limping around like some sort of reject. And it's also really uncomfortable to walk with my toe held up because I can't put weight on it yet.

So... I also have a chem lab report due Monday... and I really, really hate writing chem reports because the instructor says "Don't write like an English major!" which, oh, guess what, I AM AN ENGLISH MAJOR. SO IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO WRITE THESE THINGS. FML. I don't feel like writing anything. I mean really, really, REALLY don't feel like it. Digging salt into my toe-hole sounds more appealing and entertaining, to be perfectly honest with you.

But the good news is, sitting on my butt all of Tuesday gave me the chance to read, in its entirety, a book that I borrowed from ~Starsister12 quite some time ago. So now, I present to you:
